The Motor Fleet Management Division provides passenger vehicles to state agencies for employees in the performance of their duties. The division is a receipt-supported operation that purchases, maintains, assigns and manages the state's centralized fleet of approximately 8,500 vehicles.
The division enforces state policy and regulations concerning the use of the vehicles.

| Motor Fleet Management now has E-85 (85% Ethanol) and E-10 (10% Ethanol) fuels, as well as regular unleaded fuel, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the pumps located at 1915 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh. |
